Drought conditions in the last few years have led to wonderful grape growing conditions for local Northern Virginia wineries.

This maximizes the time spent at the wineries. Your chauffeur will wait at each location while you enjoy a sampling of local Virginia wines. You can choose as many wineries as you would like to sample in one day! Prices are based on time as opposed to the number of wineries you visit. Please keep in mind that the average tasting takes about an hour to complete.
Travel time between wineries varies which is why we have put together the tours listed below. Each group of wineries below are located within relatively close proximity to one another. We hope this will maximize your enjoyment of our wonderful Virginia wine country.

Wine Tour FAQs
How many wineries can we visit?
We recommend 2-3 wineries for groups of up to 14 people. For groups of over 14, we recommend only 2 wineries so that you are not rushed. Larger group means lengthier tastings and require more time to load and unload the vehicle.
How long do we have at each winery?
That depends on your party. Usually you can spend an average of 1 to 1.5 hours at each winery.
What happens if our wine tasting runs late?
It is not a problem at all depending on the vehicle availability. We will be happy to extend your time as long as we don’t have anything else scheduled after you for that particular vehicle.
What’s included in a wine tour?
At Presidential Limousine we provide luxury and safe transportation and the chauffeur. For anything else, we suggest contacting the wineries to make reservation, find out tasting fees and other rules and policies that they have in place.
What are the most popular wineries to visit in Virginia?
The most popular wineries in Virginia are Wildcraft Farm, Linden, Bluemont, Three Fox, Stone Tower, 868 Estate, Rappahannock Cellars and The Winery at Bull Run.
How much time should we book for our Virginia Wine Tour?
On average a 4 hour wine tour will visit 1 to 2 wineries. A 5 hour wine tour will visit 2 to 3 wineries. A 6 hour wine tour will visit up to 3 to 4 wineries. The number of wineries visited is determined by many factors, including the distance from the first pickup location to the first winery, and the final winery to the final drop-off location.
You may determine that you would like to spend more time in a particular winery, or less in another. Your chauffeur will not rush you through your trip in order to accomplish all winery visits that appear on the itinerary. You can plan to visit as many wineries as you would like, but we cannot guarantee that you will have the time to visit all of them.
Please note, that overtime may not be available and you should book as much time you believe you will need plus a buffer. If you believe you will need the 4 hour package, please consider booking the 5 hour package since time seems to fly on wine tours and we want to be sure you have plenty of time to complete your tour! In the event of unscheduled overtime, a slightly higher rate will apply.
Can we bring food in the limo?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food to enjoy it at the wineries, however, please keep in mind that you will be charged $250.00 for excessive cleanup if you decide to eat in the vehicle.
Tips for a flawless Virginia Wine Tour
Book your wine tour transportation as soon as possible. Generally, we sell out Saturdays up to 3-4 weeks ahead of time during Spring, Summer, Fall and 1-2 weeks ahead of time in Winter.
You can book your transportation without knowing exactly which wineries you’ll be visiting. We can always update your itinerary later.
After narrowing down your itinerary, call each winery to make sure they can accommodate your group around the time you’d like to arrive. Call the winery and make a reservation for your tasting, and make a note of who you spoke with.
Individual winery policies vary widely and change often. Wineries may require that tasting fees for large groups be paid in advance.
